Has your daughter ever shown an interest in hockey, but you don't know where to start? Are you just looking to have your daughter try something new and have a ton of fun with her friends? Our Tampa Bay Lightning staff will introduce the sport of ball hockey to your daughter.

These clinics is for all skill levels for girls ages 5 - 14 and requires no hockey experience or equipment! We will provide all equipment!

Girls Only Ball Hockey League
The Tampa Bay Lightning is proud to offer an exciting and empowering Girls‑Only Ball Hockey League at the Lightning Made Training Center! Designed for both experienced players and first‑timers, this program provides a supportive environment where girls can develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy fast‑paced, high‑energy competition. Played on a 60’x30’ rink using a street hockey ball in a fun and engaging 3‑on‑3 format with goalies, our league encourages quick decision‑making, creativity, and nonstop action. Each game features two 15‑minute running‑clock periods, and small team rosters ensure plenty of playing time for every athlete.
We offer two divisions—9U (Ages 5–9) and 14U (Ages 10–14)—providing the perfect environment for beginners as well as more advanced developing players. Every season includes evaluations, weekly games, and playoffs, guided by the Lightning Hockey Development coaching staff. No equipment is required beyond a stick (which we can provide!), though shin pads, gloves, eye protection, and a mouthguard are recommended for additional safety.
More than just a league, this program is designed to help players have fun, compete confidently, form friendships, and create lasting hockey memories—all within a welcoming, all‑girls atmosphere.
