The Lightning Made Training Center (LMTC) is an indoor community center operated by the Tampa Bay Lightning. The facility includes; (1) - 60'x30' Ball Hockey Rink, (1) - 60'x30' Synthetic Ice Sheet and a flexible space that is used for fitness training and birthday parties!
At the LMTC, Lightning Alumni & Staff run ball hockey leagues for youth/adults, camps and synthetic ice training programs. The facility is perfect for birthday parties, corporate outings, and is rented to local hockey teams for training.

Girls Only Little Bolts
The Tampa Bay Lightning are excited to host a GIRLS ONLY Ball Hockey Training program at the Lightning Made Training Center!
This program runs for 8 weeks and is for Girls Only between the ages of 5-10 years old, who are looking to dive deeper into playing hockey while also working to develop their individual skills!

Little Bolts Ball Hockey Program
The Little Bolts ball hockey initiative aims to be the gold standard for youth ball hockey programs with the goal of inspiring more families to join the hockey community. Little Bolts ball hockey changes the way youth hockey is offered by providing first time participants their first hockey stick and ball as well as weekly sessions of age appropriate instruction in a fun and safe atmosphere. This program is offered for ages 3-5 and will be held on Saturdays!

Youth Ball Hockey League/Clinics
Lightning staff and alumni run a ball hockey league for all skill levels/ages. These leagues have 3 divisions; 7U (ages 5-7), 10U, and 13U. These leagues run on Sundays and are 1 hour long. The hour consists of ball hockey drills and ends with a game. During the year, different alumni will stop in and help run the league!

Learn to Skate Program
The Lightning Made Learn to Skate is a beginner program for kids who are just learning how to skate for the first time. This program is 6 weeks and is for all children ages 3-8 years old. All skating for this program will take place on **Synthetic ice**. It is a great way to get the feel of skating with out being on the ice!

Adult Ball Hockey League/Pick-Ups (18+)
The Lightning Made Training Center offers a 3v3 adult ball hockey league for all skill levels. This league has 2 tiers; Tier 1 (Advanced) and Tier 2 (Recreational). This league runs on Tuesdays starting at 6:30pm. The game format is 3 periods, 15 minutes each and is a running clock.

Birthday Parties
The Tampa Bay Lightning host birthday parties at the Training Center. All birthday parties include equipment to play ball hockey along with various other sports that can be played. Synthetic Ice Rink Rental
Is ice hard to come by? Looking to get faster, stronger, and more powerful? The Lightning Made Training Center may just have the solution for you or your team! For just $125 an hour utilize everything our facility has to offer. Get better hands on our 60’x30’ ball hockey rink, sharpen your skating or fine tune your shot on our 60’x30’ synthetic ice, and start training your body off the ice with our gym area. Look to make the off-season count and continue to get better each game.
