LHSHL CHARACTER AWARD, 2022-23 SEASON
Congratulations to the 22-23 LHSHL Character Award Winner Ethan Carstens with the Durant Cougars!
Ethan is a senior who has played all four season in the Lightning High School Hockey League. He was the team captain and only took 16 penalties throughout his 4 seasons, is 2nd in points for his team's history, he excels in travel hockey, is apart of his high school's Air Force Jr. ROTC program, National Honors Society, Future Business Leaders of America and other extra curriculars. Ethan exemplifies great character as well as great sportsmanship.
HONDA PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2022-2023
Congratulations to the 22-23 LHSHL Player of the Year award winner Tyler Hoffberg from the Riverview Sharks!
Tyler is now the back-to-back Lightning High School Hockey League player of the year winner!
Tyler tallied 35 goals and 46 assist for a total of 81 points in 22 games. He lead the league in points all season and only drew 1 penalty. As the team's captain, he did not miss a single game this season.

HONDA Goalie OF THE YEAR 2022-2023
Congratulations to the Goalie of the Year for 22-23, Dylan Dykstra from the Newsome Wolves!
Dylan posted an 8-1-1 record with a 1.41 GAA and .941 SV% in 510 minutes of play this season.
He also helped his team win back-to-back LHSHL Lightning Cup Championships by not allowed a single goal during the OT shoot out in the Championship Game!

HONDA OUTSTANDING SENIOR OF THE YEAR 2022-2023
Congratulations to the 22-23 Outstanding Senior from the Newsome Wolves, Cole Parkhurst!
Cole was the team captain and a defensemen for the back-to-back Lightning Cup champion Newsome Wolves.
He finished the season with 22 points - 7 goals and 15 assists!

HONDA OUTSTANDING FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR 2022-2023
Congratulations the the 22-23 Outstanding Freshman of the year, Jacob Fisch!
Fisch was the goalie for the first year- Tampa Catholic Crusaders!
He lead the league in saves with a whopping 707 saves in only 20 games.
