Recap: Micah Carr’s early third-period goal held up as the game-winner as Durant took a 2-1 win over Manatee. Tucker McKinney opened the scoring for Durant, while Ryan Putnam stopped 39 of 40 shots in the win. Talon Whaley scored the lone goal for Manatee.

Newsome Wolves 9, Land O’ Lakes 7

Recap: Newsome rode a four-goal third period to a 9-7 win over Land O’ Lakes on Friday. Colin Jackson had four goals and an assist for Newsome, while Skogen Schrott had two goals and three assists. Ethan Curran scored five goals for Land O’ Lakes.

Plant 9, River Ridge 3

Recap: Three goals in each period paced Plant to a 9-3 win over River Ridge on Friday. Brenden Sickles had two goals and an assist, while five other Panthers had multiple points. Charles Abel made 13 saves in the win. Carter Lindquist stopped 43 shots for River Ridge.

Recap: A late goal from Emmet Menendez helped Seminole tie Wiregrass 2-2 on Friday night. Menendez had both goals for Seminole, including the game’s first tally. Wiregrass scored twice to take a 2-1 lead behind a goal and an assist each for Terence Levasseur and Daniel Petukhov before Menendez’s late tying goal. Brody Levering made 40 saves for Wiregrass, while William Bellin stopped 24 for Seminole.
