Growing youth hockey in Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay Lightning Rookie League (TBLRL) is a next steps program for young players who are preparing to participate in a local hockey league. TBLRL is an 8-week program for ages 5-12 years old and is coached by Lightning Alumni and Staff.
The 2024-2025 Tampa Bay Lightning Rookie League will be held on Saturdays and Sundays at 7 different rinks throughout the Tampa Area. This program will run 8 weeks at a time throughout the year.
All players must have their own equipment and have completed a local rink or Lightning Learn to Play program. Registration is $250 per player.
Each participant will receive:
-8 sessions consisting of 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of organized gameplay
-Rookie League jersey
-End-Of-Season on-ice jamboree
