The Tampa Bay Lightning Sled Hockey Team struck gold at the Rocky Mountain Mayhem Tournament in Louisville, Colorado! Displaying skill and determination, the team earned hard-fought victories over the Arizona Coyotes/Vegas Golden Knights Sled Team, the Colorado Avalanche Sled Team, and the Anaheim Ducks Sled Team to secure their spot in the championship game.

Facing the Seattle Kraken Sled Hockey Team in a thrilling final, the game remained scoreless through two intense periods. Then, midway through the third, Dominic DiPiazza, the team’s leading scorer, broke the stalemate with a decisive goal. Between the pipes, Eric Walton delivered a stellar performance, making critical saves to preserve the 1-0 lead.

As the clock wound down, the Lightning Sled Team celebrated a triumphant finish, claiming the gold under the guidance of Coach Jake Haynes and Gloria Smith. Congratulations to the team for an incredible tournament victory!
